Presentation will be a walking tour of our composting facility in this order: Garden waste receiving, waste processing, integration with cattle operations, composting facility and processes
Joel grew up in Cobble Hill on his family’s dairy farm. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from uVic in 2015. He later studied Process Engineering at Dalhousie University. In 2015, he started working for FTG (Stanhope Organics at that time) as a summer student, eventually joining full-time as GM in 2021 when the farm underwent a transfer of ownership.
"Arrive from Lochside Drive. Heading North on the Pat Bay Highway, turn right onto Island View Road by Michells, take first right onto Lochside Drive. Continue south until Lochside Drive ends. We are the last driveway on the right - Farm to Garden signage will be apparent.
